I've often discussed in my blog posts the types of
promotional items that are great giveaways for tradeshows and events where you
expect a lot of foot traffic stopping at your table. It's always a good
business practice to hand each person you greet with a small gift -- a pen, a
mug, a refrigerator magnet, a pocket-sized calendar. But I always love when a
tradeshow vendor lures potential clients to its table by having a raffle or
drawing. All those potentials need to do is drop one of their business cards into
a jar or bucket for a chance to win a prize. Okay, so it sounds like a great
idea. Now, what is your prize? How about a football snack helmet?
Everyone loves snacks and parties. Wouldn't this be a great giveaway item?
Imagine all of the people that will be seeing it over the years at Super Bowl
parties, get togethers, December holiday gatherings, and movie nights. Your
winner will love it. Your message will be displayed on the helmet for years to
come. And now you have a big jar filled with potential customers in the form of
a bunch of business cards. Yes, this is a great idea for your next tradeshow!
