It’s the beginning of March and if you live in a place where there has been much precipitation (think snow!) this winter or if it’s just been cold and dreary, you are probably dreaming of springtime, rich green grass, and golf carts. Golf carts, you say? Yes, golf carts. Now don’t get any ideas that I play golf or even enjoy golf. But the truth is, I do like to drive by courses and see people swinging their clubs and playing on the green. Seeing golfers excited and driving those little carts around means that spring has arrived and nicer weather is here to stay. Golf is also an amazing way for you to build business opportunities with potential clients and long time customers for a number of reasons. One, it doesn’t matter your level of skill – you might be a mediocre golfer but that’s okay. You can still play with other golfers. Second, although a game may take four hours to complete, you’re not swinging your clubs that entire period. There are plenty of opportunities for you to
talk business. Next, a golf game can consist of people of all ages. Oh, and while you’re on the course, give the others in your party a
divot fixer. It’s an inexpensive yet completely appropriate promo item.
